Hyundai Hungary

AutoBinck set up Hyundai Holding Hungary as Hyundai’s distributor in Hungary in 2007. This company took over the activities of the previous Hyundai distributor and we have since built Hyundai market share from the inherited level of 0.5% to 3.0% in 2011 (itself up from 2.5% in 2010).

Our Budapest based headquarters houses the country distributor operations as well as our flagship retail capital city dealership which in 2011 accounted for 29% of total Hyundai country sales.

Despite challenging market conditions in Hungary our continued investment in strong network development, sales and after sales programmes is targeted to ensure further market share growth in the years to come. Over the past two years we have strengthened Hyundai representation to 29 sales and service dealers and 4 authorised repairers who work very closely with AutoBinck’s local management team. As in all AutoBinck operations our local team is fully empowered to make quick, market related decisions in the interests of the brand and business, a general approach we consider vital to success in fast moving and competitive market places.

AutoBinck’s representation of Hyundai in Hungary and Slovenia, alongside other distribution and retail businesses in the Czech and Slovakian republics, evidences our strong commitment to the steadily developing Central European countries.

In 2011 Hyundai Holding Hungary were proud to receive Hyundai Motor Europe’s (HME) award for “2011 Highest parts sales growth in Europe”.
